It’s the first day of fall and we’re excited to switch up our skincare routine and makeup looks. Here’s a quick roundup of fall beauty trends for 2021. All products featured are Black-owned.
Fall 2021 Beauty Trends for Skin
Healthy skin is always in. The products, rations, and processes might change with the weather, but skincare basics like face cleansers, moisturizers, and sunscreen are always in style.
For a face cleanser, CHLOE & CHAD’s Geranium Face Wash is on our wish list. Carefully selected botanical ingredients combined with nourishing oils promise to leave our skin feeling next-level soft.
We’re also dreaming of BEIJA FLOR NATURALS’ Cocoa Mango Buttercream. This all-natural clean beauty product can be used on our face, body, and hair. Get into it.
We’ll definitely be re-upping on our holy-grail, top-tier, must-have skin essential, Black Girl Sunscreen. The sun works hard, but Black Girl Sunscreen works harder. We love how it melts into our skin without feeling greasy or leaving a white cast.
Fall 2021 Beauty Trends for Lips
Fall will always be about richer lip colors. You can’t go wrong with ASE Beauty’s Ambition lipstick. This highly-pigmented classic berry lipstick is vegan, cruelty-free, and made with better-for-you ingredients. Its compact size means it can easily fit into any purse—or wallet.
Having a reliable 1-step lip look means you can be Zoom-ready in seconds or wait to do your lips when you’re at your destination.
Fall 2021 Beauty Trends for Brows
As masks are still part of our daily lives, statement eyes, brows, and lashes remain important. Whether they are fluffy, painted, or microbladed, fuller brows are still on trend.
Luv + Co.’s brow pomade is a handy, smudge-free, wax pomade that is a beautiful smokey dark brown that matches a wide range of eyebrows.
If you’re looking for that high-fashion carved brow look, LAMIK Beauty’s brows-in-a-box is a must-try. Powders, gel, stencils, tweezers, and trimming scissors—they have everything you need.
Fall 2021 Beauty Trends for Eyes and Lashes
Graphic liner continues to have the makeup community in a chokehold. What’s not to love; we get the wow factor of a multi-shadow eye look without needing an elaborate shadow palette or the ability to blend like Jackie Aina.
Graphic eyeliner designs are quick and easy to create. On a naked lid (or at least an eyelid with a neutral base) draw a lined design using a creamy and richly pigmented pencil liner.
Haven’t mastered shadows and colors? MENTED’S Long Live The Lash Mascara is one easy step towards show-stopping lashes.
Which fall beauty tend are you most excited to try? Is there a Black-owned makeup or skincare company we should check out?
